A flier with details of the forthcoming EDCM "Growing Up" Family Fun Day! Sounds complicated but this is following in the footsteps of last year's event which was so successful. The theme this year is all about "Growing Up" and everything that entails for our children and their transition into Adult Services. Our daughter is on there all the time, well as soon as our backs are turned anyway! Also there's news of a pilot News programme created by and for people with learning difficulties and disabilities. The Daycare Trust is the national childcare charity, campaigning for quality, accessible, affordable childcare for all who need it. Our new project, Listening to Families of Children with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs, aims to find out more about families' experiences of, views on and needs for childcare today.
All you have to do is to complete the questionnaire and send it Freepost to the address provided. All entries received before December 29th will be entered in a prize draw for £20 in vouchers.The London Development Agency (LDA) have funded us to specifically target London based families of Children with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs.
