Childcare Development Grant - Welcome programme

I have just read about this in Around Ealing - so some of you might have read about this already!

The government believe that Sure Start Children's Centres have so much to offer young children and their families - that they are offering a money incentive to get new families to access activities and services.

You can get £50 if you access four sessions at a Children's Centre.
£150 more if you attend an additional 12 sessions.
£50 bonus for 4 more sessions.

Sessions with your child can be either Stay and Play, Music and Movement, Fitness for Kids and much more!
Parents are offered Confidence building, Parenting Advice, Healthy eating for babies and more...
The money is for you to spend as you wish. It is tax free and does not affect any benefits.

To be considered for the Welcome Programme and the first £50 you must meet the following criteria:

You must have a child under the age of three.
You must not have accessed Children's Centre services in the last six months.
You must live in the London Borough of Ealing.

For the additional £150 and £50 bonus you must have a household income of under £20,000 a year.
